A professional organisational assessment is much more than simply a diagnostic: it can kick-start organisational change efforts, build your team, and unearth hidden business opportunities. Our research-driven, participatory organisational assessment packages explore the whole of your organisation, using Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) evaluation criteria and internationally-recognised approaches to strengthening organisational capacity.
a) Rapid Organisational Assessment. Designed for very small organisations, or as a prelude to a larger package of support. Our rapid assessment process quickly identifies key strengths and weaknesses in your organisation, combining a diagnostic workshop with a confidential consultation with trustees, staff and stakeholders.
b) 360 Organisational Assessment - Silver. Our silver-level assessment identifies the key factors driving or blocking your organisation’s performance and sustainability, and realistic, achievable improvements you and your team can introduce. We collect confidential feedback from your staff, trustees, and external stakeholders, so that you receive a 360 degree view of your organisation.
c) 360 Organisational Assessment - Gold. In addition to a holistic assessment of your organisation, the gold assessment also includes a “deep-dive” into one aspect of your organisation. In addition, it provides you with an analysis of your organisation’s external environment, including consulting your organisation’s service users, partners, and funders to identify how external changes could affect you. Following this, we will work with you to produce an organisational development action plan.
What you will get
a) The Rapid Assessment package consists of a half-day workshop with staff and trustees, surveys of internal and external stakeholders, and desk review of organisational documentation, culminating in a concise assessment report.
b) The Silver Assessment package includes at least two workshops with staff and trustees, an online survey and telephone interviews with internal and external stakeholders, and desk review of internal documents.
You will receive a report that includes an overview of your strengths and weaknesses, and an action plan for change.
c) The Gold Assessment includes a minimum of two workshops with staff and trustees, online surveys and telephone interviews with internal and external stakeholders, a focus group or other consultation with service users, one-to-one discussions with staff and trustees as needed, a desk review of organisational plans and documentation, desk research on trends affecting your organisation, and the presentation and discussion of the assessment findings with staff and/or trustees.
You will receive a report that includes an overview of your strengths and weaknesses, a report on key trends affecting your organisation, an in-depth examination of a specific area of concern such as fundraising, and an action plan for change.
