How to be effective

How to be effective

Identify your goals, understand yourself, develop good habits, stop procrastination, and get more done

Half or one day course or can be delivered as organisational consultancy

Designed for busy people who feel they could achieve more or be happier through greater insights and attention to how their time is spent.
  • Do you get to the end of the day not really sure you’ve achieved anything?
  • Do the important things get neglected in favour of day-to-day issues or other people’s priorities?
  • Do you struggle to manage email and interruptions?
This course combines evidence and insights from management and leadership, organisational development, psychology and neuroscience.  By the end of the course you will have identified:
  • What research tells us about how to work effectively
  • Setting achievable goals and priorities
  • Your ideal day and week
  • Time stealers (including email) and how to manage them
  • Personal strategies depending on your personality type and preferences
  • Procrastination – how to avoid it and when it can benefit you
  • How to and why develop habits and routines
  • The role of managing your wellbeing in productivity
  • A personalised action plan that you can use immediately.
The course can be tailored to meet specific needs and can be run to focus on team productivity or split into workshops on different topics, for example to run as part of a staff awayday.

In-house cost: £500/£875 + trainer’s expenses
