Privacy Policy

Ideas to Impact Consultancy Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (number ZA513220) and uses the following lawful bases for processing your data:

Legitimate interests

1. We collect basic contact information from clients, associates and sub-contractors, and other stakeholders on projects, e.g. members of partnerships we work with, to be able to deliver consultancy and training services.

2. We remain in touch with individuals about opportunities or events which are relevant to them (e.g. funding  or development opportunities or relevant research or policy information).

Explicit consent

1. Information and marketing communications where consent has been sought.

2. Research with individuals and organisations through telephone, online and face-to-face contact where the research and its use has been explained to the individual and they have consented.

Data collection

Data is collected to enable Ideas to Impact to deliver services:

• Names
• Addresses
• Email addresses
• Telephone numbers

Personal data may be collected through research with the consent of participants.

Ideas to Impact may occasionally ask for further information, e.g. for policy analysis or research.

Data is collected if you visit the Ideas to Impact website using Google Analytics cookies.

Ideas to Impact uses other organisations to process data, such as Mailchimp, Dropbox or Eventbrite, that comply with relevant data protection law.

    Using information

Information is only used to deliver and report on services. Information already in the public domain, e.g. names, job titles, emails etc. may be passed on to support organisations with their work. Information not already in the public domain will only be passed on with permission where there is no legitimate interest.

Any request for information, e.g. surveys, will be preceded with information about what the survey is for and what we will do with the data.

Data is stored on a passworded database.

      Data sharing

Information provided by service users for the purposes of research or quality assessments is reported anonymously unless specific permission has been sought. Personal details of research participants, e.g. name and telephone number, are kept only long enough to complete and report on the research and are then deleted. No information is kept once the research is completed to link individuals to reports.

No data is shared with third party organisations unless this is necessary for performance of a service, for example participants’ names at an event for health and safety purposes. If there is a need to share your data with a third party this will be made clear when requesting consent.

      Data retention

Personal data will be kept for up to six years after last contact with individuals (but see exception above in relation to information about research and quality assessment participants).

Data can be erased at any time by contacting us. This may mean that we are no longer able to provide you with information about the services you received nor information about opportunities that may be available to you in the future.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request changes or ask us to delete all of your information.

      Unsubscription
